An ice tool built to meet the demands of winter climbing – the Black Diamond Viper. Be it frozen waterfall or a mixture of snow, ice and rock on exposed north faces, the Viper will help you find your way. Perfect for alpinists and ice climbers.
The head makes it easy to changing picks and swapping between a hammer and an adze. Plus, the modular head makes it possible to use all compatible ice and mixed picks. A particularly clever feature is the use of screws that can be opened with a variety of objects, such as a knife, your other ice tool’s pick, etc. So, you can bid farewell to the days when you needed to take along the right hex key to the north face of the Eiger.
The Viper comes complete with a wide hand rest and a moveable FlickLock pommel. The FlickLock is originally from Black Diamond’s walking poles, but works well here as well. Have fun climbing this winter with the Black Diamond Viper!
