A durable 1-man tent for tough adventures

The Soulo BL 1-man tent from Hilleberg is part of their “Black Label” series, which is specially designed for use in the most adverse weather conditions. The dome tent is perfect for expeditions, trekking and mountaineering adventures. Now, let’s take a look at its amazing features: the flysheet’s walls reach all the way to the ground, and they can be weighed down with snow to prevent the cold wind from penetrating inside. You can comfortably stow away your equipment, mountaineering boots and your touring backpack in the vestibule, so you won’t need to bring them inside with you.

Wind stable and easy to assemble

The inner tent can be connected to the flysheet to save time if you need to set up the tent in bad weather conditions. Plus, the flysheet will optimally protect the inner tent against the rain and snow. Thanks to its simple set-up system, there’s nothing that can go wrong whilst pitching the tent. As for the DAC Featherlite NSL frame, it’s made of durable aluminium and it provides excellent stability against the wind. Additional stability is provided by the several guy lines. In addition, the free-standing tent is equipped with a ventilation opening that can be operated from both inside and outside.

Durable materials that’ll protect you against the elements

The flysheet is made of Kerlon 1800 and features a silicone coating on both sides that allows the water to bead up on the fabric, and it can protect the material against UV radiation. As for the inner tent, it features a water-repellent DWR finish. For additional protection against the elements and to prevent the tent from getting damaged, the Hilleberg Soulo BL’s tent floor was coated three times with polyurethane.
